Congratulations to my fellow candidates on their victories in the April 5th race! While I’m disappointed not to have been selected, I’m very pleased to say that throughout this campaign, I have found all of the candidates to be extremely thoughtful and concerned individuals. So a big congratulations to Eau Claire as well, for having what I know will be a very strong school board going into the next year.

Also, huge thanks to those who supported my run for school board! I am so honored to have had your support, and the campaign was a great learning process. If nothing else, it has confirmed for me one key point: Eau Claire teachers are great, hard-working professionals who need our community’s support now more than ever. I will continue to advocate to friends and neighbors that the upcoming November referendum is currently Eau Claire’s best opportunity to show that support. I also remain convinced that investment in attracting and retaining the best and brightest teachers with competitive salaries is one of the best investments we can make not only in our kids, but also in our property values, and in Eau Claire as a whole.

So thanks again to all for the great experience – and, fair warning, you may see me campaigning for our school district on a future ballot!   :)

Hello! Thanks for visiting my campaign page, and many thanks to the voters who signed to help get me on the ballot for Eau Claire School Board. I believe we’ve got a great group of candidates for April, particularly our two wonderful incumbents, Rich Spindler and Chris Hambuch-Boyle. Whatever else happens in the campaign, I hope these 2 dedicated individuals will retain their board seats. In fact, I expect all 5 of April’s candidates will have strong positions, and we will likely have more agreement than disagreement on the key issues facing ECASD. So I’ll look forward to this campaign mostly as an opportunity to work with my fellow candidates to raise voter awareness on behalf of our children and schools.
